On Wednesday night, Las Vegas Aces star A’ja Wilson scored 22 and became the fastest player in WNBA history to 5,000 points as the Aces beat the Connecticut Sun 85-59.
She has 5,015 career points.
Jackie Young had 20 points, Chelsea Gray added 15, and Jewell Loyd scored 13 in the game against the Sun.
Tina Charles led the way for Connecticut with 18 points.
Connecticut (2-13) has now lost seven in a row overall and six straight to the Aces.
A’ja Wilson is one of my favorite players in the WNBA, and I think if the Aces want to win another title, she has to play her best game each night.
