The USA world junior team faced Slovakia in its third preliminary-round game yesterday.   Tobias Pitka goal at 8:53 of the 1st period, giving Slovakia a 1-0 lead. Later on in the period, Slovakia went up 2-0 on a goal by Tomas Chrenko at 11:15.   AJ Spellacy's short-handed goal split the lead in half to make 2-1 at 1:50 into the second period. Drake Maye did it again for the Patriots on Sunday against the Ravens on Sunday Night Football.   Maye found his tight end, Hunter Henry, for a one-yard touchdown to tie the game at 7-7. Andy Borregales' 45-yard field goal helped give the Pats the lead. The Ravens were able to tie the game on a Tyler Loop 36-yard field goal.   In the 3rd, Borregales gave the Pats the lead at 13-10, and the Ravens took the lead on Zay Flowers' 18-yard rushing touchdown, which made the score 17

Jaylen Brown scored a season-high 42 points and sealed the game with a breakaway dunk in the final seconds as the Celtics beat the NY Knicks 123-117 at TD Garden last night.   Derrick White had 22 points and scored seven of those in the final four minutes. Jordan Walsh had six points and five rebounds in the four-quarter coming off the bench.   Mikal Bridges had 35 points, leading the Knicks. Isaiah Evans hit a go-ahead three-pointer with 19.7 seconds left to give #4 Duke Blue Devils a 67-66 win over # 15 Florida in the ACC/SEC Challenge at Cameron Indoor Stadium.   The sophomore was 0-for-7 from behind the arc when Florida's Boogie Fland hit a three-pointer with 34.6 seconds left, giving the Gators a 66-65 lead.   Cameron Boozer, the star freshman for Duke, was just outstanding and scored 29 points for the Blue Devils. Drake Maye was just WOW yet again. I mean, what more can you say about this guy? Well, how about an MVP conversation, right? Maye completed 24 of 31 passes for 282 yards, two touchdown passes, and zero interceptions. Keyshon Boutte got a 3-yard TD pass from Maye, which gave the Pats a 17-0 lead at the time. Gunner Stockton was outstanding yet again for the Georgia Bulldogs against #10 Texas Longhorns. He threw four touchdown passes, two to Noah Thomas, a 30-yard TD pass to London Humphreys, and a 6-yard TD pass to Lawson Luckie. What more can we say about the 2025 New England Patriots this season, I can describe it in one word: Outstanding!   Drake Maye was once again just fantastic in this game against Tampa Bay. He went 19 of 27 passing for 166 yards and two touchdown passes.   Ohio State wide receiver Jeremiah Smith had five catches for 42 yards and a touchdown.
