Boston College women’s lacrosse ends Northwestern’s 47 home win streak

Antonio DiCesare

No. 1 Boston College Women's Lacrosse beats No. 2 Northwestern 13-9 on Saturday and ends their 47 home-game winning streak.

Sophomores Kaylee Colbert and Molly Driscoll posted hat-tricks to help pace the offense. Grad Student Mia Mascone (1 goal, two assists) and Senior Rachel Clark had two goals and an assist. Junior Shea Baker also scored a goal for the Eagles.

Northwestern turned a 6-0 BC lead down to a four-goal deficit before halftime.

Boston College gets its second consecutive win over their cross-conference rivals.

I remember watching last year's championship game, and I saw Boston College stay calm and not give up when it mattered most.

I can see the Eagles back in the championship game this year.

Next Game for the Eagles:

Wednesday, February 19th

UMass @ # 1 Boston College 4:00 pm on ACC Network Extra
