Brooks Koepka wins third career PGA Championship

On Sunday, Brooks Koepka wins his third career PGA Championship. He shot 3 under par and was able to fend off a challenge from Victor Hovland.

Koepka became the first LIV Golf player to win a major title since defecting to the Saudi-backed tour.

He entered Sunday with one stroke lead over Hovland and Connors after he had birdied three of his final seven holes during the third round on Saturday.

The Major was Koepka’s first since he won the 2019 PGA Championship at Bethpage’s Black Course. Koepka becomes the 20th player win at least five majors. He is one of six to win three or more PGAs joining Jack Nicklaus (5), Walter Hagen (5), Tiger Woods (4), Gene Sarazen (3) and Sam Snead (3).
