Celtics celebrate Banner 18 by making a record-tying 29 3-pointers and beating the NY Knicks 132-109

The Boston Celtics raised banner 18 into the Raptors and won on opening night, beating Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks 132-109 on Tuesday night at TD Garden.

 

Jayson Tatum led the Celtics by scoring 37 points and making eight three-pointers.

 

Derrick White scored 24 points, Jaylen Brown added 23, and Tatum had ten assists for the Celtics.

 

Jalen Brunson scored 22 points for the Knicks, while his new teammate, Karl Anthony Towns, had 12 points and seven rebounds.

 

Boston tied an NBA record for most three-pointers in a game (29).
