Celtics take Game 1 133-128 in Overtime and lead the series 1-0

On Tuesday night, the Celtics beat the Pacers 133-128 in Overtime at TD Garden and now lead the series 1-0.

Jayson Tatum scored a game-high 36 points with 12 rebounds and three steals. Jaylen Brown had 26 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals, while Jrue Holiday added 28 points, eight assists, seven rebounds, and three steals.

The Celtics had to play and fight hard for this win, but we know this will not be a walk in the park. The Pacers are a good team and will find ways to get back into this series.

Tyrese Haliburton had 25 points and is one of the best point guards I have seen. This guy can shoot and is a winner. TJ McConnell is outstanding off the bench for the Pacers with 13 points and provides a spark every time he is on the floor.

Let’s hope the Celtics can stop the key players on the Pacers and take control of this series.
