Caitlin Clark had 27 points and 11 assists, while her teammate Kelsey Mitchell scored 23 points as the Fever set a franchise record for points in a game in their 123-88 win over the Connecticut Sun on Wednesday night.

Diamond Miller had 15 points for the Sun; Saniya Rivers had 13 points and Olivia Nelson- Ododa added 11 points.

Clark was involved in a verbal altercation with Connecticut’s Saniya Rivers late in the third quarter, and both players received technical fouls. For Clark, it was her 7th technical foul this season, and if she gets one more, she will be suspended for 1 game.

Clark is one of my favorite players in the WNBA, but if she doesn’t want to be suspended for one game, I would keep my bad comments to myself if I were her.

Next Game for the Indiana Fever:
