On Thursday, Coco Gauff went into her third-round match against fellow American Alycia Parks and was in control from the jump.
Gauff won 6-0 and 6-2 and cruises into the fourth round of the Australian Open. Gauff, 19, turning 20 in March, the reigning U.S. Open champion, was playing some outstanding tennis from what I saw watching some parts of the match.
She needs to keep her opponents on the ropes during the match. She can do well if she can stay focused, play her game, and not give up easy opportunities.
Let’s hope this young up-and-coming star in the making can keep showing everyone why she deserves to be here.
