After watching the College Football rankings show last night on ESPN, I wanted to see some teams move up in the standings. If I were to make the standings, I would have put Texas A&M at number two ahead of Indiana. I wanted Georgia at least number four or higher. I wasn’t shocked to see Alabama drop from fourth to tenth after losing a close game to Oklahoma this past Saturday. For me, Notre Dame needs to win out, meaning if they can win the rest of their games without losing, I can see them crack the top five. Say if BYU were to win the BIG 12 conference, it could create some problems for many teams like Miami and others. If Ohio State wins the Big Ten and goes undefeated, I would have them as a favorite to repeat as national champions. The ACC conference is wide open at this point. I don’t know how many teams from each conference will be in the final playoff standings in December. We will have to keep our eyes open and find out.
