Eichel and Tkachuk help the U.S. power past Denmark 6-3

Denmark struck first in the opening period when Nick Olesen scored his first Olympic goal, giving his team a 1–0 lead. Matt Boldy quickly answered with his first Olympic goal to tie the game at 1–1.
The U.S took control in the 2nd period with three goals from Brady Tkachuk (2nd), Jack Eichel (1st), and Norwood native Noah Hanifin (1st). The U.S. pushed its lead to 5-2. Phillip Brugisser cut the lead for Denmark at 5-3.
The U.S added two more goals by Jake Guentzel (1st) and Jack Hughes (1st) to increase their lead to 6-3.
USA will play their final preliminary round game today against Germany at 3:10 pm on USA Network
