George Russell claims surprise win in Austria

This Morning, George Russell claimed a surprising win at the Austrian Grand Prix after Red Bull’s Max Verstappen and McLaren’s Lando Norris collided in a battle for the lead, dropping Verstappen down some spots and forcing Norris to retire.

After a long run in third place, Russell took advantage, swept through, and took the lead.

Russell earns his second win of his Formula 1 career. McLaren’s Oscar Piastri finished second, and Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz took third.

It was his first win since Brazil in 2022.
