The Vegas Golden Knights rallied and beat the Edmonton Oilers 4-2 in Edmonton on Wednesday night.
Jack Eichel had a goal and two assists. Mark Stone also scored for the Golden Knights, who got their first road win of the season and won six of their last seven overall. Knights’ goaltender Aidan Hill stopped 27 shots.
Brett Kulak and Zach Hyman scored for the Oilers, who have now lost two in a row. Oilers goaltender Stuart Skinner had 31 saves.
Noah Hanifin scored twice for the Golden Knights, the tying goal in the 3rd and the game-winning goal with one minute remaining in the 3rd, giving the Knights a 3-2 lead.
Noah Hanifin is one of my favorite NHL defensemen. I see him as an all-star this season and, hopefully, a contender for the Norris Trophy, which goes to the best defenseman in the league.
