Hershey Bears repeat as Calder Cup Champions


The Hershey Bears beat the Coachella Valley Firebirds 5-4 in overtime of Game 6 and won back-to-back Calder Cup titles.

 

The Bears are now 13-time Calder Cup champions and have repeated as champions for the third time in franchise history.

 

Hershey’s Pierrick Dube recorded a hat trick, and Matt Strome scored 66 seconds into overtime to lift the Hershey Bears to the 5-4 victory in Game 6.

 

Hershey had a franchise record crowd of 11,013 on Monday night at Giant Center.

 

Hershey Bears Center Hendrix Lapierre was awarded the Jack A. Butterfield Trophy as the most valuable player of the 2024 Calder Cup playoffs after leading the postseason in scoring with 22 points (7 goals, 15 assists) in 20 games.

 

Congrats to the Hershey Bears on winning back-to-back Calder Cup titles.
