Yesterday, Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart played some of their best basketball as the Liberty beat the Connecticut Sun in a close one, 71-68.
Sabrina Ionescu had 21 points, including some clutch baskets in the fourth quarter.

Her teammate, Breanna Stewart, had 18 points, 14 rebounds, and three huge blocks when her team needed excellent defense.
DeWanna Bonner led Connecticut with 22 points and nine rebounds. She made big threes for the Sun when they were down in the 4th quarter.
Sabrina Ionescu is one of my favorite point guards in the WNBA, and I like how she shines in big moments, plays good defense, and is a true leader on the team.
Stewart is another favorite player I like in the WNBA, and goes all out every time she is on the court.
Sabrina Ionescu, Breanna Stewart of the NY Liberty, and Alyssa Thomas for Connecticut will play on Team USA Women’s Basketball for the Olympics this Summer.
Both Teams will meet again on Tuesday, July 16th, in New York.
