Jacob Fearnley was going to lose the match against Adam Watson, but he saved six match points to complete one of the most dramatic comebacks in ATP Challenger final history on Sunday afternoon.
He defeated Adam Watson of Australia, 5-7, 7-6(8), 6-4, in a two-hour and 30-minute match to win the Men’s singles title at the Hall of Fame Open in Newport, Rhode Island.
Fearnley picked up his fifth ATP Challenger title and his first title since 2014.
