Jayden Daniels was named the starting quarterback for the Washington Commanders

On Monday, the Washington Commanders named Rookie Jayden Daniels the starting quarterback. The reigning Heisman Trophy winner, the second overall pick in this year’s draft out of LSU, proved himself pro-ready. Last Season at LSU, he threw for 3,812 yards, 40 touchdowns and four interceptions.

The Washington Commanders finished 4-13 last season. They were ranked 24th in total offense, which shows that they needed to find a good quarterback to help control the offense and get points on the board.

I believe Daniels is a good leader on and off the field, shines in significant moments of games, and has fantastic accuracy. Also, I see him challenging Caleb Williams, Bo Nix, and Marvin Harrison Jr for Rookie of the Year. I mostly see Daniels and Caleb Williams battling it out during the season. It would be interesting to see who can outduel the other and help lead their team to a position to get into the playoffs.

Keep an eye on Jayden Daniels; he might surprise you this season.
