Jaylen Brown was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers from the Boston Celtics on Wednesday afternoon. The Celtics get Paul George and a couple of draft picks.
When this news broke, I thought it was a complete joke and a bad move on the Celtics' part. You traded a guy who was well-liked and respected in Boston. What the hell were they even thinking, trading him to a rival in their own division? Are the Celtics insane right now?
Brown was the 2024 Finals MVP, second all-NBA, and the league's fourth leading scorer last season.
Paul George is 36 years old, and he averaged 16.2 points in only 41 games, his lowest full-season scoring average since averaging 12 points per game in his second season with the Indiana Pacers.
I am so disappointed with this trade. I don't think this was a good move for the Celtics' mindset, and I don't know what will happen in Boston now.

I can’t agree more. A bad move by the Celtics. Jaylen Brown will be missed!
