Leclerc wins the US Grand Prix in Austin, TX, and gets his third win of the season

Antonio DiCesare

Charles Leclerc gave Ferrari its first United States Grand Prix victory since 2018 with a dominant performance on Sunday.

Leclerc earned his third win of the season, and Ferrari finished 1-2 with his teammate Carlos Sainz in second.

The real battle was between Red Bull's Max Verstappen and McLaren's Lando Norris. They were tangled at the start and fought the rest of the way through in the final dozen laps. Norris made a pass on Verstappen, going off the side of the track to make the pass. Verstappen immediately complained after the pass was made.

Norris insisted that Verstappen also left the track. After the stewards reviewed the situation, Norris received a 5-second penalty, and Verstappen was awarded third place.

In my opinion, it was not fair. I saw a clean pass from Lando, and he should have been awarded third instead of Verstappen.
