The number one Kansas Jayhawks beat UNC Wilmington 84-66 on Tuesday night, and Head coach Bill Self won his 800th career win.
Hunter Dickinson had 15 points and 15 rebounds, and Dajuan Harris Jr. scored 16 points, leading Kansas in scoring. David Coit added 13 points, and Zeko Mayo scored 10 for the Jayhawks.
Khamari McGriff had 18 points, and Noah Ross had 10 points along with nine rebounds for UNC Wilmington.
Kansas, which has already beaten Kentucky, one of the top programs in college basketball, will now face off against another top program, the Duke Blue Devils, in the Vegas Showdown next Tuesday.
Kansas is one of my favorites to win the national championship in college basketball this season. I like this team because they play like a team, supporting each other and communicating on the court. Dajuan Harris Jr. is an elite point guard, and I can see him leading this team to a championship. If Kansas wants to win a title, I would have to see them go through teams like UConn, Duke, Kentucky, Arizona, Gonzaga, Alabama, Tennessee, and North Carolina.
Next Game for Kansas:
Tuesday, November 26th
