John Mateer, the Junior who took over for former Sooner QB Jackson Arnold, now at Auburn, was fantastic, and from what I saw, this guy can really play football at a very high level.
Mateer threw for 271 yards, two touchdowns, one a 24-yard pass to Isiah Sategna III and a 9-yard TD run.
The Sooner defense had nine sacks in the game.
Jackson Arnold for Auburn was just as good as Mateer, from what I could tell from watching the game on Saturday. He threw for 220 yards and a touchdown to Cam Coleman, which tied the game at 10-10 in the 2nd quarter.
It was a classic battle between Oklahoma and Auburn. I mean, it was a tough quarterback battle, with lots of scoring from both teams.
Oklahoma will head into its bye week unbeaten at 4-0.
