Ohio State slumped in the first half before blowing out Iowa 35-7

Antonio DiCesare

Ohio State quarterback Will Howard led the way for the Buckeyes as they beat the Iowa Hawkeyes 35-7 on Saturday afternoon.

Howard was fantastic in the game against the Hawkeyes. He was 21 of 25 for 209 passing yards and four touchdowns. He also ran for 28 yards and had a rushing touchdown.

The Buckeyes were hanging on a string in the first half, leading 7-0 until halftime, where they exploded.

Buckeyes wide receivers Senior Emeka Egbuka and Freshman Jeremiah Smith had massive games. Egbuka caught three touchdown passes, and Jeremiah Smith had a touchdown, which was a one-handed catch that was one of the best I have seen in college football this season.

I have Ohio State as one of my favorites to win the national championship this season.

Next game for Ohio State:

Saturday, October 12th

Ohio State @ Oregon 7:30 pm on NBC
