Pats Rookies TreVeyon Henderson and Efton Chism III scored their second preseason touchdown against the Vikings on Saturday.

Henderson was fantastic yet again for the Patriots, and from my perspective, he has been playing a crucial role in this offense. He rushed for 20 yards on four carries with an 8-yard score on two drives with the 1st string offense.

Drake Maye started again for the Patriots against the Vikings, where he went 4 for 7 for 46 yards, but was penalized for a delay of game and overthrew a pass that was almost intercepted.

Chism has been impressing me with his determination. He had six catches from Pats' backup quarterback, Joshua Dobbs, for 71 yards and a score.

Vikings Starter JJ McCarthy did not start. He was wearing an earpiece on the sidelines while Sam Howell got the start for the Vikings. Howell, who was acquired in a trade from the Seattle Seahawks in April, went 1 for 5 with an interception.

Brett Rypien started for the Vikings in the second quarter, going 7 for 11 for 83 yards. Undrafted rookie Max Brosmer played in the second half and went 15 for 27 for 156 yards and was picked off in the end zone by Pats safety Kyle Duggar.

The Patriots went on to beat the Vikings 20-12.
