Patriots earn their second win of the season, sending Aaron Rodgers and the Jets to their fifth straight loss

Antonio DiCesare

The Patriots had to make a comeback against Rodgers and the Jets after Drake Maye suffered a concussion.

Maye was 3 of 6 for 23 yards and ran for 46 yards, including a 17-yard touchdown run in the 1st quarter, giving the Pats a 7-0 lead. He left the game in the second quarter with a concussion and is now in concussion protocol.

Jacoby Brissett came in after being benched after starting the season's first five games. He completed 15 of 24 passes for 132 yards.

Rhamondre Stevenson had 20 carries for 48 yards and two touchdowns. He gave the Patriots the lead with 22 seconds left in the 4th quarter. He also caught the two-point conversation to give his team a 25-22 lead.

Aaron Rodgers completed 17 of 28 passes for 233 yards and two touchdowns. Garrett Wilson had five catches for 113 yards. Breece Hall ran for 80 yards on 16 carries. Braelon Allen gave the Jets the lead with a 2-yard touchdown run with three minutes remaining in the 4th quarter.

Jets kicker Greg Zuerlein missed two kicks, badly shanking an extra point and pulling a 44-yard field goal attempt to the left after the Pats took a 17-16 lead.

With the win, the Patriots snap a six-game losing streak.
