With the 6-1 win on Sunday against the Astros, the Red Sox have won five games in a row and are now in second place, three games back of the Toronto Blue Jays in the American League East standings.

Trevor Story and Ceddanne Rafaela had consecutive RBI singles in a six-run fourth inning. Connor Wong had a sacrifice fly, and Wilyer Abreu also had a sac fly.

Lucas Giolito was just dominant against the Astros. He went eight innings, only allowing three hits, one run, one walk, and four strikeouts.

The Red Sox team is heating up at the right time, and they need to keep it going if they want to make the playoffs this season.

I am loving the way this team is starting to find a rhythm and playing like a team who are determined to make it to the playoffs.
