Scott Dixon wins Indy Car race at St. Louis to stay in contention for the Championship title


Scott Dixon got his second IndyCar win in a row Sunday afternoon. It was his 55th win of his career.


Dixon led 123 laps in the race. He is the only driver with a chance to catch Alex Palou in the points for the IndyCar Championship with two remaining races.


He started 16th because of a 9-place grid penalty for changing his engine.


Alex Palou has 565 points, while Dixon has 491 points in second.


With Two races left, Dixon needs to finish strong and try to at least finish ahead of Palou in each of the two races.
