Today, World No.1 Iga Swiatek played fellow grand slam champion American Sofia Kenin in a first-round match, winning 6-3, 6-4.
Swiatek looked comfortable and was staying focused. She did not allow Kenin to get ahead in both sets and put some real pressure on her throughout the match.
She has now won 20 consecutive matches, a string of wins that includes titles in Madrid, Rome and Paris.
Iga is coming off a grand slam win at the French Open in June, winning in straight sets.
If she sticks to her game, I see her competing in the final for another grand slam title at Wimbledon.
