Tatum scored 37 points as the Celtics held on for a win against the Pistons 124-118

The Celtics went into the game against the Detroit Pistons and won a close one, 124-118.

 

The Celtics had led by as many as 23 points in the first half but trailed for much of the third quarter. Jayson Tatum led the way with 37 points.

 

Jaylen Brown had 24 points and ten rebounds in the game for Boston. Derrick White and Al Horford had 17 points each, while Jrue Holiday added 7 points and four assists.

 

Jaden Ivy had 26 points for the Pistons. His teammate, Cade Cunningham, finished with 21 points and ten assists.
