Team USA’s Alex Hall wins Silver in Men’s free ski slopestyle

Alex Hall, the defending Olympic champion in men’s freestyle skiing slopestyle, earned silver in his return to the podium.
He scored 85.75 on his second run, trailing Norway’s Brik Ruud by just one point. But a slip on a rail early in his final run ended his chance of earning another gold.
Ruud with an impressive score of 86.28 on his second run. But in his final attempt, he fell. He had already won gold despite the fall.
This skiing event made its debut at the 2014 Sochi Games, and since then, the U.S. have won seven of 12 which includes two golds.
Congrats to Alex Hall on a great performance and a well-deserved silver medal.
