The Celtics take Game 2 and beat the Mavs 105-98 and lead the series 2-0

The Celtics went into Game 2 and beat the Mavs 105-98 in a solid offensive game for both teams.

Jrue Holiday played one of the best games I have seen him play all season. He led the way with 26 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Jaylen Brown had 21 points and played some solid defense.

Luka Doncic had 32 points, 11 assists, and 11 rebounds for his first Finals triple-double. He scored 23 in the first half and didn’t score his first points of the fourth quarter until 1:15 left in the game.

The Celtics need to do:

-        Keep playing Celtics Basketball

-        Get a big lead early in the game

-        Create turnovers

-        Solid offense and defense

-        Finish the game (Hold on to the lead)

I wouldn’t count the Mavericks out just yet. They can still find a way to turn this series around.

Next Game:

Wednesday, June 12th

Celtics @ Mavericks 8:30 pm on ABC
