U.S. Women’s Soccer won the Gold Medal against Brazil

The U.S. Women’s soccer team took the pitch against Brazil on Saturday for the Gold medal game, winning 1-0.

The 1st half was a battle but scoreless heading into halftime.

Then, in the 57th minute, Mallory Swanson put it in the back of the net to give the U.S. a 1-0 lead, which turned out to be the game-winner.

They won their fifth Olympic gold medal. The Americans haven’t won gold since the 2012 London Olympics.

The U.S. won gold in the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, the first time women’s soccer was played at the Olympics, and in 2012, it was in London.

It was a fantastic accomplishment, and this team kept fighting and never looked back.

Congrats to the U.S. Women’s Soccer team on winning gold at 2024 Paris Olympics
