William Bryon wins the Daytona 500 after a crash on the final lap. The race was moved to Monday after a weather delay (rain) postponed it from Sunday to Monday.
Bryon took the white flag after a crash on the final lap caused a caution, which had to be reviewed by NASCAR officials, who determined that the leader took the white flag before the caution came out.
He became the sixth different driver to win the Daytona 500 for Hendrick Motorsports and the first in nine years.
It was a fantastic race, and it lived up to the hype. It is the Superbowl of racing, for sure.
