Bruins snap their 4-game losing skid in a shootout win over Dallas

The Boston Bruins snapped their 4-game losing streak on Monday afternoon with a shootout win over the Dallas Stars.

Boston’s first two goals come from the fourth line. Anthony Richard connected with Boqvist, went down the right side, and slid the pass to Richard, who was cutting to the front of the net and made it 1-0.

Jesper Boqvist tied the game at 2-2 for Boston after Dallas had scored a couple of goals from Wyatt Johnson and Ryan Sutter.

Boston’s Justin Brazeau scored his first NHL goal in his first NHL game, which was a great moment to see.

Dallas defenseman Esa Lindell snapped the 2-2 tie to give the Stars the lead, but not before David Pastrnak tied the game at 3-3 with 1:45 left in the 3rd.

After a scoreless overtime, it came down to a shootout where Brad Marchand tied it, and Charlie McAvoy won it for Boston.

Let’s hope the Bruins can play better heading into the last month or so in the season before the playoffs.
