College Football Playoff Rankings

It was a big day on Sunday for the College Football Playoff Committee, where they had to decide who the top four teams that would battle for a chance to win a national championship.

I watched the College Football Playoff selection show on Sunday to determine who would be the top four teams playing in the two semi-final games and battle for a national championship. It was a crazy thing. The four teams were # 1 Michigan 13-0 Big Ten Champs, # 2 Washington 13-0 Pac-12 Champs, # 3 Texas 12-1 Big 12 Champs, and # 4 Alabama 12-1 SEC Champs. But Florida State was left out of the top four. They went undefeated 13-0 and are the ACC Champs. It was so unfair, and it caused a lot of problems for Florida state. The committee will need to do a better job of choosing the top four best teams.

You leave Florida State out of the top four just because Alabama beat Georgia in the SEC Championship game, and you put a one-lose Alabama team in the fourth spot over an undefeated ACC Championship team in Florida State. I did not understand it at first, but now I know why.

It had to do with Florida State's QB Jordan Travis's injury that impacted the committee's decision to put Alabama at four.

For me, I would have put in my top four teams:

1. Michigan

2. Washington

3. Texas

4. Either Alabama, Georgia, or Oregon, depending on their best-quality wins

I would not want to be a person on the College Football Playoff Committee making the hard decision. No way, not me. There's too much pressure.
