Red Sox win their 5th Straight

The Red Sox have now won five straight games and are keeping up with the Tampa Bay Rays for 1st place in the American League East division.

So far, Christian Arroyo, second base has been amazing for the Sox this season in the leadoff spot. He went 2-3 and drove in two runs. He hit a two-run single, and part of a three-run, in the fourth inning. In addition to Arroyo, Alex Verdugo has a hot bat as of late! He has really been playing at a high level this season. Verdugo showed his skill when he drove in a run, with an RBI double, in the bottom of the 3rd inning.

The Sox hope to keep their winning ways going tonight, when they face off against the Houston Astros at Fenway Park, 7:10pm EST on NESN.
