Sue Bird and Breanna Stewart lead the way as the Storm win the 2020 WNBA Finals

Updated: Oct 14, 2020

The Seattle Storm beat the Las Vegas Aces 92-59 in game 3 to win the 2020 WNBA Finals. Breanna Stewart lead the way for the storm with 26 points, 4 rebounds, 0 assists and she was named finals MVP for the second time in her career.

It’s the Storm’s fourth title in franchise history. It was the fourth championship for Sue Bird, whom the storm drafted with the number 1 pick in the 2002 draft. The team also won titles in 2004, 2010, and 2018 which ties them with the Minnesota Lynx’s and the Houston Comets for the most in WNBA history.

The Seattle Storm are one of the best basketball teams that I have seen in a while. They are really good and can win a game in many different ways. It really was a season to remember for the Storm.
