After a bit of a slow start, The United States Men’s Hockey routs China in their First Game

Team USA opened up group play in Beijing men’s hockey tourney with an 8-0 victory over China on Thursday. Sean Farrell the forward who plays for Harvard University had a big day with a five-point game, scoring a hat trick and adding on two assists. Forward Ben Meyers out of the University of Minnesota, had himself a day as well with three points (a goal and two assists). Goalie Drew Commesso out of Boston University, made 29 saves to get the shutout. The 19-year-old Goalie is the youngest goalie to ever start for the U.S men in the Olympics.


The veteran Brian O’ Neil, who is the only one that is a member of the 2018 U.S on the roster. He scored a goal on a great pass by Andy Miele just 28 seconds into the 4 on 4.
