The German Bundesliga is the primary professional soccer league in Germany. Founded in 1963, Bundesliga is comprised of 18 teams and runs from August to May. As they typically play games on weekends, I’m eager to catch the next big game this Saturday.
Bayern Munich has dominated this season. I expect they will have a chance to clinch their 9th straight title this Saturday against Mainz. With a 9th Bundesliga title, Bayern will prove that they can still play with the best of them!
What has kept Bayern in the running for the title year after year? They play as a true TEAM -they support one another, communicate well, and demonstrate a true love for the game. Their offense is one of the best, excelling at long range shots and strategic counter attacks.
When it comes to highlighted players, Polish striker, Robert Lewandowski is one of the best. Lewandowski has proven his skills for superb passing, which of course comes with the ability to be in the right place at the right time. As a striker, he can read the defense and follows up with an amazing shot.
