Bruins extend their win streak at home as they beat the lightning 3-1 on Tuesday

Bruins beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 3-1 on Tuesday night and extended their NHL record streak of home victories to open a season to 13 games.


Taylor Hall scored the first two goals for the B’s, and then Brad Marchand added an empty netter to secure the win. Goalie Jeremy Swayman made 27 saves and played well.


Steven Stamkos scored the only goal for the lightning on the power-play, raising his career point total to 999 points. He is only one point away from 1,000 for his career.
