The Boston Bruins beats the Pittsburgh Penguins 2-1 in the Winter Classic at Fenway Park on Monday.
After a scoreless 1st period, the Penguins got on the board first in the 2nd with a goal by Kasperi Kapanen, his 6th of the season, to make it 1-0.
In the 3rd period, the Bruins rallied and got back in the game. Jake Debrusk got the tying goal, his 15th of the season, which he banked off a Taylor Hall shot to make it 1-1. Then Debrusk scored his 2nd goal of the game, his 16th of the season, to give the Bruins the lead at 2-1.
Linus Ullmark got the start for the Bruins and made 26 saves to help seal the victory for the Bruins. Their record is now 29-4. They will be going on a three-game west coast road trip in California.
