Bruins top Panthers 3-1 in Game 1

The Bruins beat the Florida Panthers 3-1 in Game 1 on Monday night at TD Garden in Boston.

David Pastrnak scored his 1st goal of the playoffs on the power play and gave the Bruins a 1-0 lead in the 1st period. Then, Brad Marchand scored his 1st of the playoff, his 50th career playoff goal, to make the score 2-0. Matthew Tkachuk added his 1st goal of the playoffs to cut the lead to 2-1. Jake DeBrusk added his 1st of the playoffs when he knocked the puck into the net out of a scramble in front of the crease to make the 3-1.

Linus Ullmark got the start in the net and stopped 31 shots in the game, and he was just amazing.

The Bruins were without Captain Patrice Bergeron, who was sitting because of illness.
