Celtics win big behind great performances by Smart, Tatum, and Walker

Marcus Smart was big for the Celtics having scored 16 points and hitting five 3 pointers, which was the turning point of the game. Teammates, Jayson Tatum and Kemba Walker were also big for the Celtics. With Tatum scoring 34 points and Walker scoring 17, they helped propel Boston to a 102 over 99 win over Fred Van Fleet and the Raptors.

Tatum was amazing in the first half and then Walker and Smart picked things up in the second half. As great as the Celtics played last night, the Raptors showed us that they were not going to go down without a fight. Kyle Lowry and Fred Van Fleet’s performances showed that just because they’re down 2 games to none doesn’t mean that they’re going to give up that easily.

Game 3 will be tomorrow, Thursday, September 3rd at 6:30pm ET on TNT.
