Once again, I wasn’t surprised to see Oregon and Ohio State still at 1 and 2 in the rankings. Texas deserves to be at the top because Quinn Ewers, Longhorns quarterback, has been playing some of the best football I have seen in college football so far. He has the Longhorns in an excellent position, and I hope they stay in the top four in the rankings. Penn State is number four in the rankings, and I see a team that needs to get noticed by the playoff committee. Drew Allar, the Penn State quarterback, has played some fantastic football, and I see him leading this team in the playoffs.
I knew that Georgia would fall out of the top 10, and here is why: they have some weaknesses in their offense and defense that other teams expose in the games. After their loss to Ole Miss last Saturday, I knew they were in some deep water. I think Notre Dame, Indiana, Colorado, and Clemson need big wins this weekend to make a statement to the playoff committee.
