Daniel Jones and the NY Giants agree to a new deal

Daniel Jones agrees to a 4 year $160 million, including $35 million in additional incentives, $82 million over the first two years, and a first-year cap number of $19 million.

Jones led the Giants to the playoffs this season with a record 9-7. He had a monster game in the Giant's Wild Card win over Kirk Cousins and the Minnesota Vikings before losing to Jalen Hurts and the Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional round.

This deal makes him the ninth quarterback to breach the $40 million-per-year mark in the NFL.

Jones had his best season as NY Giant, completing 67.2% of his passes for 3,205 yards with 15 touchdowns and five interceptions in 16 games. He also rushed for 708 yards and seven touchdowns on 120 rushes.

NY Giants had its first winning season since 2016-17 and won their first playoff since 2011-12 with Jones under center last season.

Daniel Jones is one of my favorite Quarterbacks in the NFL and is on my top 10 Best NFL Quarterbacks list.
