Eagles secure a 4-2 victory over Brown University in Providence

The Boston College Eagles men’s hockey team beat Brown University 4-2 on Tuesday night.


Freshman’s Andre Gasseau and Cutter Gauthier each scored a goal to give the eagles an 2-0 lead. Nikita Nesterenko potted a pair of empty-netters late in the third period to seal the 4-2 victory.


BC Goalie Mitch Benson had 23 saves and made several keys saves in the third period to preserve the lead.


They will begin a home-and-home series against No. 10 Providence on Friday night at Kelley Rink at 7 p.m.
