The Vegas Golden Knights beat the Dallas Stars 3-2 on Sunday in overtime to take a 2-0 series lead, heading to Dallas for games 3&4.
Miro Heiskanen scored his 1st of the playoffs just 2:47 into the game for the Stars and gave his team a 1-0 lead. Then, Mark Stone scored his 6th of the playoffs on the power play to tie the game at 1-1.
Dallas took a 2-1 lead on a Jason Robertson power-play goal, his 4th of the playoffs. In the 3rd, Jonathan Marchessault tied the game at 2-2 on his 6th of the playoffs and forced overtime.
Then, in overtime, Chandler Stephenson scored his 6th of the playoffs just 1:12 into the period and won the game for the Golden Knights.
