Jordan Love will not practice until a new deal is done

Packers Quarterback Jordan Love says he won’t practice until a new deal is made, and it sounds like it might take a while.

The former 2023 first-round pick was productive in his first season as a starter in Green Bay. He had 4,159 passing yards, 32 TDs, and 11 INTs.

Love will start the 2024 season for the second time as a full-time starter. He is entering the final year of a one-year extension to his four-year rookie contract.

He helped the Packers defeat the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round and advance to the Division Round against the San Francisco 49ers.

Love should close a new deal with the Packers soon and prepare for the 2024 season. The longer he waits, the more time is wasted on preparing a deal.

Jordan Love is one of my favorite quarterbacks in the league, and I like what I have seen so far from him in his first year as a full-time starter. He shines in the big moment, stays calm in the pocket, reads the defense well, and is a good leader.

What will happen with Love’s Contract? It looks like it will take time.
