Justin Jefferson signs an extension with the Vikings

The Minnesota Vikings signed their star wide receiver Justin Jefferson to a 4-year, $140 million contract, including $110 million guaranteed.

With a new salary of $35 million per year, Jefferson has topped Brown's market-setting deal that he signed in April. He has surpassed San Francisco's Nick Bosa as the league's highest-paid non-QB in the league.

Now under contract through the 2028 season, Jefferson will also receive $89 million, fully guaranteed at signing.

Jefferson had his best season in 2022, leading the league in receptions (128) and receiving yards (1,809) to earn the award for AP's offensive player of the year.

I believe Justin Jefferson will have a bounce-back season in 2024 and be in the conversation for offensive player of the year.

With Jefferson now signed, Can the veteran wide receiver help rookie QB JJ McCarthy and be a good QB-Receiver duo in the league?

Only time will tell.
