The Kentucky Wildcats beat the Florida Gators 82-74 in Gainesville on Wednesday night for their third win in a row.
Leading the way for Kentucky was Oscar Tshiebwe with 25 points, and Jacob Topping had 19 points in the game. Antonio Reeves added 16 points, and Chris Livingston had 10 points. Tshiebwe banked in a jumper in the first half to reach 1,000 points. He becomes the 61st player in program history to do so.
Kentucky’s record is 19-9, 10-5 SEC
In my opinion, IF they want to do well down the stretch, they have to do the following:
- Keep winning games in Conference play
- Every game from here on out is a must-win
- Rebound
- Create turnovers
- Score points early and maintain the lead
- Play as a team
