MLB opening day is tomorrow, Thursday, April 1st. We have waited a year for this, and now, it’s back. Let’s play ball! This season is going to be jam packed with amazing performances, walk-off homeruns, and comebacks.
There will be many exciting games to watch on opening day. Just to name a few, we’re looking forward to the Orioles at Red Sox, Astros at Athletics, Mets at Nationals, and the Dodgers at Rockies.
There are a few players that I think will have a particularly outstanding season. Clayton Kershaw, LA Dodger’s pitcher, is expected to have dominate on the mound and strikeouts will go up this year for him. Xander Bogaerts, J.D. Martinez, and Rafael Devers will each bounce back and will each have an All-star type season. Look for Nolan Arenado to help the St. Louis Cardinals be a really good team and have an MVP like season.
In my opinion, the teams that will have a bounce back type year will be the Boston Red Sox, NY Mets, Washington Nationals, Chicago cubs, Toronto Blue Jays and the Philadelphia Phillies.
