NY Liberty beat the LA Sparks thanks to the fantastic performance of Courtney Vandersloot


On Tuesday night, The NY Liberty beat the LA Sparks 76-69 after they got back in the game thanks to Courtney Vandersloot’s second-half performance.


Courtney led the way for the Liberty, scoring 20 of her 23 points in the second half. Her teammate Brenna Stewart added 16 points and 12 rebounds, while Sabrina Ionescu had 11 points on 3 of 12 shooting.


Nneka Ogwumike had 20 points and eight rebounds for the Sparks. She moved past Candace Parker (5,684) for the second most points in LA Sparks franchise history, trailing Lisa Leslie with (6,263).


Watch for this NY Liberty team. They will be one of the teams to challenge the Las Vegas Aces in the playoffs.
